Landscape of Imaginary Spaces

I close my tired eyes to see the world inside,
All of the Heavens are within, millions of stars reside,
Behind my closed lids, I can peer beyond perception,
Where no one may manipulate me, there’s no diabolical deception:
I travel down a tunnel at the speed of light,
I leave everything behind me, nothing is as bright,
As the world of my dreams, all fantasy is fair game,
The chains of the corporeal shatter, nothing’s the same,
As the beautiful landscape of imaginary space,
And I commune with my kindred alien race.
